Vice Chairman Vu Viet Van receives the Deputy Ambassador of Japan in Vietnam

On 2017/5/16, Mr. Vu Viet Van, Member of the provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee met and worked with Mr. Yanagi Jun, Deputy Ambassador of Japan in Vietnam. Attending the meeting, there were representatives of some departments and agencies of the province.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman Vu Viet Van introduced the socio - economic development and investing environment of the province to the Deputy Ambassador and affirmed that, in the past year, Vinh Phuc has always paid attention to create favorable conditions for the development of enterprises, especially businesses from Japan.

Before the increasing needs on studying and working in Japan of Vinh Phuc's students and workers, Mr. Vu Viet Van expected that Japan would soon open representative office of study counseling abroad in Vinh Phuc; continue to concern and have specific mechanisms and policies to support students, workers in Vietnam in general and Vinh Phuc in particular. The Vice chairman also required the departments to continue to review and refine activities of overseas study and labor export consultancy in the province in accordance with the law.

Affirming the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Japan, Deputy AmbassadorYanagi Jun said that in the coming time, after the finish of Thang Long - Vinh Phuc Industrial Park invested by Sumitomo Corporation, along with investors who are producing and trading effectively in the province, Vinh Phuc could attract more Japanese businesses to invest in the province. In the field of training for overseas student, because there are many changes in policy, in the coming time, the Embassy of Japan will have specific working sessions with ministries and branches of Vietnam to build new mechanisms to attract more and more students and laborers to Japan.

Also at the meeting, Mr. Yanagi Jun briefly introduced the situation of Japanese language training in Vietnam in order to promote the tourism demand of the two countries. He suggested that Vinh Phuc province should closely manage activities of overseas study and labor export consulting units so that overseas students and workers can enjoy the best policies when coming to Japan and avoid them taking advantage of the mechanisms and policies agreed by Vietnam and Japan.
