Israeli Embassy visits STEM-Vinaponic science-technology and interactive classroom model

On 2017/4/20, Israeli Embassy delegation led by Ms. Meirav Eilon Shahar, Israeli Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Vietnam visited STEM-Vinaponic science-technology and interactive classroom model at Nguyen Viet Xuan High School (Vinh Tuong district). Receiving and working with the delegation, there were Mr. Hoang Minh Quan, member of the Provincial Party Committee , Director of the Department of Education and Training, representatives of some departments, branches of the province and leaders of Nguyen Viet Xuan High School .

At the meeting, Mr. Hoang Minh Quan, Director of Department of Education and Training shared the overview of socio-economic situation and educational development of the province. Over the past years, Vinh Phuc's education has developed comprehensively with the same level of other provinces and cities having developed education and training. The system and network of schools from pre-school to high school are continuously planned to meet the increasing needs of children. Especially, the province's spearheaded education quality has been stable at high level in recent years, the province has many pupils from high school and secondary school who has won medals in Olympic and international examinations. ..

From the 2016-2017 academic year, the Department of Education and Training instructed to pilot the STEM and Vinaponic learning models - one model was developed from the idea of learning the theory along with practice of Israel at Nguyen Viet Xuan and Pham Cong Binh high school (Yen Lac district) to help students and teachers at all levels have experiences in practical activities, creating clean food sources by applying advanced methods in the world and reverse teaching methods, thematic teaching, so that pupils have opportunity to apply science into the life.

Ms. Meirav Eilon Shahar highly appreciated achievements of the province's education and training sector in recent years, especially congratulating the province on successfully building STEM-Vinaponic science-technology and interactive classroom model in two schools. She desired that, in the next year, the province would continue to replicate this model in many other schools, not only in high schools but also at all levels; because this is a model with high practicality; it helps students not only in high school but also at higher levels.

After that, the delegation directly participated in the interactive class with the lecture on pH measurement and visited the actual Vinaponic model at Nguyen Viet Xuan High School.
