Job creation in many forms

Considered as one of the important contents ensuring social security, the job placement is always concerned and implemented with many synchronous solutions.

At present, the province has about 800 thousand people in working age. On average, 14,000 people enter the working age per year creating a great pressure for job creation.

In order to solve that problem, the province has deployed many solutions on settling employment. Through economic development policies, the province promoted investment attraction, developed collective economics, encouraged the development of trade villages, private and household economy, promoted activities ofthe provincial employment service center, the Provincial Youth Employment Service Center, Vocational Training Center and Employment Service Center of the Women's Union, Farmer’s Union.

According to the report of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social affairs, from 2011 to 2016, job placement centers in the province advised employment, vocational training, policies and labor regime for over 19,000 people.

Particularly, the provincial job service Center has organized 187 job transaction sessions with the participation of more than 4,000 enterprises and recuited 16,000 employees through these job transaction sessions. In 2017, the provincial Job Service Center held 39 job transaction sessionswiththe participation of757enterprises. Accordingly, nearly 2,000 employees were recuited.

Besides, the province particularly concerned in vocational training and improving the quality of labor resources. The recruitment and the training are flexible in various forms to meet the demand of vocational training of employees and recruitment needs of enterprises.

On the other hand, teachers have been developed in terms of quantity and quality, gradually overcome the unreasonable situation in terms of industry structure, professional qualifications and skills.

In the period of 2011 - 2016, vocational education institutions in the province recruited and trained nearly 300 thousand people. In 2017, the total number of students were recruited until 2017/11/16 was nearly 23 thousand people.

Thanks to positive measures, in 2017, Vinh Phuc created jobs for over 25,000 workers (reaching 110% of the year plan, rising 1.7% compared to the same period in 2016). Of these, more than 23,000 people were created job in the country and nearly 2,000 were sent to work abroad.

Despite the positive results, however, up to now, the job creation for laborers has still faced many difficulities. With abundant labor resources, but the supply of labor for enterprises in the province is not effective, due to laborers have psychology to choose the job; Enterprises do not have a reasonable treatment regime for labor, most enterprises do not recruit more than 30-year-old workers...

On the other hand, introduction and employment services of the units have changed, but not met the needs of the labor market. The statistical work of quantity and quality of labor force and control of results of job creation at communes, wards and towns werenotperformed regularly.

In the coming time, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social affairs will carry out a survey on information on labor supply and demand in 2018; combine vocational training with job creation through the signing of labor supply contracts with enterprises inside and outside the province; actively send teachers, pupils and students to enterprise to study and raise their professional skill; intensify vocational guidance, job counseling and introduction activities for pupils and students.
